PROUD

PROUD_poster art

This three-part French mini-series tells the story of Charles, Victor, and Bao. Three generations of men from the same family, who are transformed by the social progress happening in the country. Each episode is dedicated successively to each one of them, around three historic moments. Retrospective and epic, the series also portrays a family as well as a social and a political situation. In 1981, it was still illegal to be gay in France. Today, same-sex marriage is recognized and has paved the way for legalizing the adoption of children by LGBTQ families.

TIGLFF is thrilled to partner with KINO MARQUEE on the virtual release of this special presentation.
