Trans Pride 2026 General Schedule
TIGLFF’s Trans Pride Weekend will take place from March 26 to March 29, 2026. This 6th year celebration builds on the legacy of the Tampa Bay Transgender Film Festival while expanding into a weekend of films and community events across Tampa Bay. Please review the schedule below for a tentative list of film screenings and related events.
With the exception of the Night of 1000 Oscars (21+ Dance Party & Ball) TIGLFF’s Trans Pride is intended to be a family-friendly celebration. However, not all films have been rated at this time. Some screenings may include emotionally challenging themes, particularly for members of the transgender and gender nonconforming community. Topics may include dysphoria, violence, and death. Viewer discretion is advised.
An event registration or ticketing process is being developed for each community event, and an RSVP or ticket purchase will be needed to know the specific locations of our events. If you have ticket/RSVP access and know the event location, we ask that you do not share this information publicly for the safety of our community.

Elevating Events
March 26th
- Opening Night Reception | St. Pete | Free | Green Light Lounge and Kitchen, 5:30 pm
- Kick off the festival with us! Prior to the opening night film, join us for snacks, drinks, and a fun photo moment just a quick walk away from the theatre.
March 27th
- Night of 1000 Oscars | Tampa | 21+ | $25-50 | 7th Ave in Ybor City | 7:00 pm - 12:30 am
- A massive party for our local queer and trans communities, followed by a Gender Ball
- 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm Dance Party in collaboration with Dyke Nite St Pete
- 10:00 pm - 12:30 am Gender Ball with Central Florida Ballroom Collective
- This event is a community fundraiser in collaboration with Swamp Bois and Doll Dynasty to support their Gender Affirming Care Fund.
- A massive party for our local queer and trans communities, followed by a Gender Ball
March 28th
- LGBTQ+ Fandom Art Market | Tampa | Free | Felicitious Coffee | 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

March 29th
- Trans Community Picnic | St. Pete | Free with RSVP | Public St Pete Park in the afternoon, specific location with RSVP
- Bring your own blanket (or chairs) and snacks.
- Enjoy music, an art & clothing swap, field games, & community <3
- Wrap Party | St. Pete | Free | Green Light Lounge and Kitchen, 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm
- Celebrate the end of this year's festival with us! After the closing night film, stick around for cake, bubbly juice, and good company. Let’s wrap up the fest together!
