The main characters, Dom (Nick Kroll) and Cole (Andrew Rannells), take a trip to Italy to celebrate their anniversary and destress from their lengthy, emotional adoption journey. While trying to get to a special, rural dinner, their car gets stuck in a ditch during a storm.

Isolated in a foreign country without cell service or an understanding of the Italian language, a series of misunderstandings occurs. The couple accidentally kills an elderly restaurant owner and her son in a panic, assuming they are in immediate danger. They end up leaving a trail of bodies behind them while desperately trying to clean up and get home to their expected baby.
