Renée Cossette

Renee has been with the organization since 2005 and is deeply committed to making sure the audience has the best experience possible.

Renee was born in Ohio and fled the freezing weather when she was 22 years old.  She has been involved in the LGBT+ community for over 25 years. She was a member of Crescendo, The Tampa Bay Women’s Chorus from 1995 till its closing in 2016.  On the international stage, she was an assistant to the Director of Meetings and Festivals at GALA Choruses (Gay and Lesbian Association) from 1999 until 2004.  Locally she was the Administrator for the Tampa Bay Business Guild, now known as Tampa Bay LGBT Chamber, from 2005 until 2015. From 2002 to 2012 Renee and her wife started You Go Girl Productions, they produced shows for Suzanne Westenhoefer, Suede, Cris Williamson, Holly Near and Sweet Honey in the Rock.

Renee shares her life with her wife Kathie of 21 years, their little black dog Luna and their 2 cats Pete and DJ
