The Way He Looks is one of my favorite movies. It’s about young queer love, it’s sweet, it’s playful, and it pulls at my heartstrings. Throughout the film, Leonardo and Gabriel navigate the trials and woes of high school while simultaneously experiencing the tenderness and butterflies of crushes, first kisses, and relationships. Romantic feelings and changing friendship dynamics keep the film lively and relatable. I hope you enjoy this film as much as I do!
